Why is St. John’s Wort Yogi Tea not good to drink during pregnancy?

If it’s herbal, it doesn’t have caffeine. Is it a detox tea? I’ve been trying to look stuff up on it and I’m not finding what exactly I want.

It looks like the main reason is that the effect of St. John’s Wort on the unborn child is simply not well known.

One study on mice did indicate low birth weight.
